Since the beginning of the crisis, Air France has done everything possible to assist its customers by enabling them to easily check the health documents required by the authorities in their destination country. This information is updated in real time on the website.


With “Ready to Fly”, the airline goes one step further and offers its customers confirmation before arriving at the airport that they have all the health documents and proof of identity required for their trip.

On eligible flights, customers are invited by email, a few days before departure, to send their health documents to Air France via an online platform. These documents are then checked and, subject to their conformity, a confirmation message is sent to the customer. The boarding passes issued will then bear the words “Ready to Fly”, enabling them to be processed quickly by Air France teams at the airport on the day of departure.


In the event of an incomplete file, a notification message is sent, inviting the customer to send the missing documents or to present them at the airport on the day of travel.

With “Ready to Fly”, Air France enables its customers to approach their journey with greater peace of mind, with the certainty that they have all the documents they need to board. This free and optional service also makes the customer’s journey through the airport smoother, by avoiding successive checks.

Successfully tested since June, “Ready to Fly” will be offered from 17 July on flights departing from Paris to Corsica and overseas destinations, before being gradually rolled out over the summer to a growing number of destinations.
